The Venus Society Club
The Venus Society is a safe and empowering community where women come together to connect, grow, and feel their best. More than just a club, we are a community rooted in inspiration, meaningful conversations, and diversity. Through outings, interactive activities, literature/books, and stimulating discussions, we cultivate a space for deep connections and personal growth.
This club is made up of two groups: The social club and the book club. You’re welcome to join both—there’s no need to choose. There’s no commitment required, and you can leave at any time. While both clubs will occasionally come together, I’ve separated them to ensure each one gets information & invites specific to their interests.

What makes this club private?
This club is private because membership requires an inquiry and approval to join. The goal of this group is to build a close-knit community where people can get to know one another and feel safe enough to open up and be themselves in a comfortable environment. While we believe the more, the merrier, we want to maintain a space where members can feel familiar and secure with those they’ve connected with. Unfortunately, inviting outside guests to book club meetings or planned social club events isn’t an option at this time.
Why is an inquiry required, and how is acceptance determined?
No one is turned away. Acceptance is based on the availability of space in each club. If you inquire about a specific group and it is full, you will be placed on a waitlist until a spot opens up or additional seats are made available. There is no formal vetting process; the inquiry simply helps us understand more about the potential member. Since we are just starting out, there are currently about six seats available for each club. If the club grows beyond that, we will announce it on our socials.
I’ve sent my inquiry, now what ?
We’ll send you an email with a questionnaire, and once that’s completed, you’ll receive a welcome email confirming that you’re officially part of the club!
How often will the groups meet?
Groups will meet once a month, but the frequency may change depending on how things are going. Keep in mind, this is a new club, and if members express a desire to meet more often, that will certainly be taken into consideration.
Do I have to pay for anything?
There is no membership fee. However, if we plan any outings or events, participants will be responsible for their own expenses. We will share the details and costs for all events and activities well in advance to help you plan. If you’re part of the book club, it’s entirely up to you whether you purchase the book, find a PDF online, or borrow it from your local library. I encourage everyone to support their local library whenever possible!
Can I join both groups?
Absolutely! You’re more than welcome to join both groups. It’s a great way to expand your interests and meet new people. Feel free to sign up for both.
If I’m part of one group and don’t want to join the other, but would like to attend an event they’re participating in, is that possible?
Yes, it is possible! You would just need to send an inquiry to RSVP. However, priority will be given to those who are subscribed to the group. If the event has limited spots, we can’t promise a spot, but we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
What if I am not consistent with meeting, will I be removed from the club?
Absolutely not! Life be life-ing lol & we understand this. Drop in whenever you’re able to. If we haven’t seen you in over 3 months, we’ll check in to see if you’d like to pause/cancel your membership to make space for someone on the waitlist. When you're ready to return, just let the organizer know!
What if I do not want to be apart of the club anymore?
No problem! We’d be sad to see you go. You can notify the organizer or on the "Become a Member" page, there’s also an option to discontinue your membership.
When is the first meeting?
The club is expected to start between mid-March, early April. Additional information will be provided once all spots are filled. Information will be posted on the website, Instagram, and sent to you via email.

You can view upcoming events and meetings in the members-only section of our website, where all the details will be posted. We’ll also send email updates to keep you informed! Additionally, there will be text group chats you can join, making communication much easier
